We are hiring disability support worker.

Disability support workers play an important role in assisting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and live more independent lives. Some of the tasks and responsibilities of a disability support worker includes:

Providing personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Assisting with mobility and transportation, including using assistive devices and accompanying clients to appointments.

Supporting individuals with their daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.

Developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.

Providing emotional and social support to clients, including facilitating social activities and promoting community involvement.

Monitoring and documenting clients' progress and reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.

To become a disability support worker, there are usually certain qualifications and requirements that need to be met. These can vary depending on the country or region, but common qualifications and requirements include:

Requirement:

Completion of a relevant certificate or diploma, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or a Diploma of Community Services.

A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

A current police check and working with children check.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist with mobility.
